I ""used"" to be a regular customer there...but the last 3 times I've been there, something discouraging always happens...Once I was there in the grocery area, they charged me regular price for a sale price item and the cashier was very hesitant to correct it. Second time, the same thing also happened to me at the restaurant area. They charged me more and hesitant to correct it. Third time, I took a to-go order from the restaurant and when I got home, I realized they gave me only gave me 2 of the 3 dishes and they charged me for 3 items. Basically, they just want to rip you off whenever they can. Also, dirty place and terrible service. The food is okay, but the quantity is horrible. Al Markaz has some of the best non-veg Indian cuisine in the entire DFW area. The place isn't very fancy. Paper plates, no table cloths, etc. But, the food is what we go for. Have been eating here for years! Pros: Excellent food, very authentic, nice customer service Cons: Not very fancy more

Nepali girls who work the tables are a bit overly friendly, even if your in there with your woman. Place is dirty, but food is ok. Bathrooms are disgusting and workers do NOT wash their hands - I have seen this first hand!! They also hire illegals here. If you can handle the dirtiness of this place, maybe you can stomach the food. Pros: good bryiani rice Cons: dirty, poor service, nasty bathrooms more

I eat Indian food all the time, but fell sick the moment i ate at this place.\r \r Go here if you want to eat unhygenic food in dirty dishes and plastic plates and of course you get pathetic service to top it all. Cons: Bad Service, Dirty Dishes, No hygene more

I am only one of many converts that my brother got hooked on this place. He and his co-workers make it a weekly lunch stop, for the amazingly tasty lunch combos, and I always ask him to take me when I visit. We always get the chicken masala with extra gravy, biryani, and beef kabobs. Never disappointed!\r Pros: Food Food Food! Cons: The eating area is nothing fancy, but who cares, we're going for the food, right? more

Don't expect a fancy environment at this place. This place is all about food and that's it! Try the Nihari with Butter Naan and the Chicken Tikka Breast and don't forget the Bunna Gosht! YUMMMMM\r \r more
