Editorial review from Citysearch 8/11/2012

A.E.S. is the best employment services in San Francisco. I have used AES twice and can truly say I was happy with the assignments I received. The first assignment I went on was at an IT company, they called me back several times. The second assignment I was sent on was at a Construction company, which I worked for several months. more

Best recruiter I have worked with! 12/21/2011

Recruiters are invaluable for career advancement or helping with job situation changes and I have worked with several recruiters throughout my employment history. Isabella is, by far, the best I have ever worked with. Her communication, tenacity, support and honesty is like a refreshing breeze. Similar to a skilled match maker, she seeks to make sure you are the right person for the right opportunity and keeps you informed throughout the process. If you have the opportunity to work with her, count yourself lucky! more

review of AES 12/4/2009

I only had a one-day job, sitting on a mock jury for a law firm, in Walnut Creek, to see how the evidence they had gathered for their client looked to six impartial people. My contact at AES was Isabella Schwarzinger. She was very professional, followed up with all the paperwork, and the day went off without a hitch. I recommend AES highly for all your employment needs. The only employment agency to use 4/2/2008

As an employer I am an enthusiastic fan of this company. They pre-screened candidates and , because they understood our needs and culture they found just the right applicant. They even check with me when they come accross someone who looks right for us even when we don't think we have an opening. Some candidates are too good to lose...or we might be thinking about adding staff and they come at the right moment. Even with a HR background I can't face the mountains of responses to a job listing... the internet has just made it easier for us to get a lot of response and harder to find a good match. If you can't afford to hire the wrong person you need AES. Pros: as an employer they are the best. Cons: some candidates may not find a match and become discouraged more

One In a Million! 2/7/2007

I have worked with a lot of staffing firms, as a matter of fact; I can probably be called an expert by now. For a long time I have had a very sour taste in my mouth about recruiters and staffing firms. In my experience, they always have tons of jobs, until you get there and do all of the testing and paperwork, and then for some strange reason after you've spent and hour or more jumping through their hoops you hear ""we don't have anything right now, but If something comes up, we'll call you"". Having a passion for recruiting myself, this behavior had become very frustrating... until AES found me. Now, AES has never placed me in a position, but it's not for lack of trying on their part. My first visit was very productive; my recruiter Melissa is an angel. She spent more than an hour talking to me and listening to what my needs were. She was very honest about what she could and could not. She never made promises she could?t keep, and never tried to send me on interviews for positions that she knew I wasn't interested in. Melissa is a ""Rock Star"". I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Isabella. She too was kind and honest; everyone that I encountered at AES was genuinely nice. Melissa told me that I should never limit my options just because I like her, but if I ever really need help; I know I can count on AES. more

Good Agency, Got me a job quickly. 2/7/2007

I had a good experience working with them from day one. They had a specific job to discuss and they had information about the company ready for me when I came in. The testing wasn't too bad. I finished mine in about 45 minutes. I had an interview with their client within 2 days, and I was hired almost as quickly. They handled my salary negotiation, and were able to get me more money then I had originally thought I would get. The recruiter remained in touch with me after I started too, and after a few weeks of working at my new job she sent me an evaluation to fill out to let them know what I thought of the job, and their service. I thought that was a nice touch. I totally dissagree with the previous review. That person sounds disgruntled because they didn't get the job. Pros: They follow through Cons: don't drive in, take bart. Parking was expensive. more

Worst Agency Experience Ever! 12/6/2006

I don't recommend this agency at all. Both myself and several people that I have talked to agree, if you actually want a job and people that know what they are talking about, then go elsewhere. I don't even believe the postings above, sounds like something they would write about themselves just to get a ""sale"". Pros: oh yeah they have the charm! Cons: poorly run, ignorant staff, list could go on.. more

Certified Staff, Professional Office. 11/7/2006

I have been in the recruiting industry for several years now, and when I came in to interview with this company I was very surprised to see how friendly and welcoming the staff was. As a Woman owned company AES has really created a name for its self in San Francisco. I am proud to say that I have been with the company for over a year now, and in that time have seen the growth, and success both of the business, and my personal finances! I strongly urge anyone who is tired of ""agencies"" to give AES and our staff a try. more

A friendly agency - an oxymoron! 11/6/2006

When I think of agencies, I tend to think of boxed cubicles and overly dressed up non-smiling serious so-called experts. Well, not anymore! These people are actually friendly! They asked what I was looking for and they did not concentrate solely on my test scores! They looked at the overall package and what I have to offer! I feel like they have my best interests as opposed to simply making a profit. Kudos! Pros: Very friendly & helpful staff. Cons: Parking in downtown san francisco! more

Great staff, quick, Knowledgeable and effiecient 11/6/2006

I've had a great experience with this agency. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. There was about an hour of testing, but they did everything they could to make it as painless as possible. The staff is quite knowledgeable and helped me find employment right away. Pros: Friendly helpful staff, convenient city location, quick response Cons: About an hour of testing more
