I think Adventureland is going downhill. I tripped over a cable twice and could have been hurt. The teenager operating a ride my grandchildren went on was fooling around with a friend and not paying attention. more

Fun Park for a day! 9/29/2005

Not a colossal park like Six Flags but on a much smaller with swings, carousel, roller coaster, etc. There are rides for the toddlers as well as the teens so it can be fun for the whole family. Buy a POP (pay one price) ticket and bring some food along if you don't want to spend your money at the Food Court. Convenient and easy to get to. A good family outing. more

Great Amusement Park 8/27/2005

Adventureland Amusement Park is a great small sized amusement park to take the whole family to. There are a lot of rides here and the place is not as big as Six Flags so you do not have to worry about the kids getting lost. Parking is easy to find and the admission to the park is very cheap. more

Swing & Sway Your Way to Fun 8/21/2005

Why drive to Six Flags when Adventureland is right here? The swings are a personal favorite but everyone can find something to enjoy. Is it too hot outside? Go inside to get your fill on video games. Take a ride on the roller coaster and catch the breeze. Be prepared to bring a nice amount of money . . . amusement parks are never cheap but you can check out their pay one price (POP) option and perhaps save some money to play ski ball. more

Fun for the Kids 8/10/2005

This amusement park is located in a small strip off a major road. The atmosphere is nice, with many booth games and enticing prizes, however, the rides are sure to disappoint an older crowd. Many of the rides are geared towards the young children group, with kiddie rides covering much of the park. The few larger rides are disappointing and leaves one feeling sick afterwards. The park hosts a large arcade with many new games, which serves in keeping the park from becoming tedious to teenagers. Overall, this park has something for everyone, but fails to stand out among amusement parks. more

Not worth it 8/10/2005

I have been to Adventureland numberous times. It is not a fun amusement park. Anyone above the age of 11 years old will hate it. Their rollercoaster 'Hurricaine' cut my back open & first aid said they didn't have a band aid big enough to cover it. The pirateship doesnt go upside down and will only make you dizzy. They used to have one that went upsidedown, which was horrible. The haunted house is a waste of time. This amusement park is overpriced and a waste of time. Not worth it. more

Closer than 6 Flags 8/10/2005

Adventureland is an old staple for summer fun. It has a lot of rides to choose from including a great flume ride, and has much shorter lines than the big parks. An all day bracelet costs $20. A casual restaurant and a large arcade is on the premises. Birthday party packages are available and thee is plenty of parking.. A fun day close to home. more

FUN! 8/9/2005

My kids absolutely love this place. They love the roller coasters, carousel, haunted house and all the other fun rides to be had here. They love to play all the games too and try to win prizes to take home. It makes for a nice day for a family outing. Food is ok and a bit on the expensive side - but that's pretty much to be expected in just about any amusement park. We definitely all had a good time though. more

So-so theme park can hit the spot 8/4/2005

Not everyone can make the trip to Disneyworld or even over to New Jersey to Six Flags Great Adventure. And who wants to play on those shaky rides that the travelling carnies use? OK, I guess plenty of people do, but I'm not one of them. Adventureland is small local amusement park, and showing some signs of its age, but it's a great place to kill an afternoon as long as you're not expecting the big time theme park experience. The place is quite small, but they pack plenty of rides into this small space. The food is horrible, but what do you expect? Prices are reasonable for the area and they have a fun little roller coaster. And they have all the staples: bumper cars, swings, etc. more

Fun for the little ones 8/2/2005

Adventureland is Long Island's favorite amusement park. Recommended for the younger set of kids, Adventureland features swings, a large ferris wheel, merry-go-round, pirate ship, haunted house (may be a little too scary for some) and many kiddie rides. Get the P.O.P. (pay one price) bracelet for admission, and ride the rides all day long without worrying about tickets. Food is available indoors (usual amusement park fair) at average prices. There is also a large indoor arcade with many prices. For a little relaxation, take the train ride around the park. Let the big kids go off to Six Flags, but the little ones will absolutely love Adventureland! more

Very fun for younger children 7/21/2005

This park is but a small amusement park in farmingdale along route 110. They are always adding new rides and attractions and their arcade is even open during the winter.. a good place to take the kids after school for a few decently priced hours on the weekends. The P.O.P. bracelets to get into the park that include unlimited ride access are a little overpriced, but if your child is 12 or younger the money is WELL worth it. They have a haunted house, two roller coasters (small of course) and a log flume to name a few of their attractions. They have a confectionery which will bring a smile to the kid's faces and the staff is friendly and accommodating. They do birthday parties. more

adventureland 7/19/2005

adventureland is a great place for kids of all ages. We brought my grandchildren hereand weren't sure if there would be anything that would interest them. There are a TON of rides for the little ones as well as the older kids and adults. You can either pay one flat admission fee if you are riding the rides or just buy tickets. Those not riding can get in for free. You are better off buying the one all day pass it comes out to be cheaper- especially if your kids want to go on the same ride over and over. this is a great place to go if you want to go on rides and not drive a long distance to the other parks more

adventureland 7/17/2005

Adventureland is a great choice for a fun filled family day outing. They have a pay one price policy to ride all afternoon or evening, or you can pay for each ride. They have 28 rides for all ages. They also have a midway with lots of games to win prices. more

Great Family Fun 7/8/2005

Adventureland is a small amusement park in Farmingdale, however, it offers big family fun. I would recommend it for children 14 and under. Anyone over 14 may not find the rides exciting enough. As a child I went to over 12 birthday parties here and had the most fun. The small park allows you to keep a close eye on your children. I highly recommend it for a family outing or birthday party. more

Great day out with the kids not expensive. 7/2/2005

Adventureland in Farmingdale on Route 110, is a great place to bring the kids on a Sunday Afternoon or in the evening afterwork. Lots of rides and games for the kids to play and ride on. Not expensive POP bracelette is definetly the way to go for the kids and hubby if they plan on jumping from ride to ride. If your the mom and really arent into riding all the ride but just coming along for the ride there is no admission charge you can go for free. There Swing and Old Fashioned cars are a staple at Advenutureland and have been there for years. I have been going to Advenutreland since I was a young girl and I loved it now that my kids have been there for years they love it too. Try it this weekend you will be happy to know its close to home and very afordable. Resturant on site is pretty good too, pizza, hot dogs, fries, burgers, ice cream, it cant be beat. Try our Adventureland today. more
