They can't give u an estimate to repair your work. If ur window stops rolling up or down. Don't take it there unless u want to pay 4000 dollars because a window fell off the track...

Editorial review from Citysearch 7/7/2012

This review is long overdue, but Tony and his gang took amazing care of my '98 Audi A4 Wagon for the 4.5 years that I was living in Seattle. I highly recommend Advanced European to anyone who wants top-notch work done and great customer service. more

Satisfied customer 12/2/2011

I am appreciative of the effort put into making sure my Jaguar runs perfectly after its regular maintenance was performed. Every aspect of the vehicle was inspected to insure it was without issue. This is a trustworthy maintenance and repair facility that will not attempt to sell a service that is not required. They offer a discount at Enterprise car rental - just 2 miles down the road - if a loaner vehicle is required. I will bring my vehicle back for regular maintenance or unexpected repair any time. more

The Most Honest Auto Repair Shop 2/28/2010

Thank you so much for the excellent care you've taken on both of our vehicles. Francine and I have a great feeling of comfort knowing your crew of mechanics check our vehicles from top to bottom. Your thoroughness and suggestions help us make our decisions on what to do and when. This helps us plan our budget for our vehicles and minimize the surprises that can occur with vehicles. My only question is why those occasional funny noises I try to describe over the phone never seem to be there when I bring my truck in. At least they never come back when I get my truck back. Pros: Guarantees their Work more

Terrific Service 10/28/2009

Advise you regarding what really needs to be fixed now and what repairs may be postponed. Will always do their best to accommodate the customer's schedule. Honest and reliable. Pros: Honest; attentive; very customer-oriented more

Best service in town - especially for Mini Cooper owners! 4/29/2009

I own a Mini Cooper, and after having other non-dealer garages work on my car (and make many mistakes), I thought I was relegated to driving an hour to Fife to teh dealer. Then I found Tony. He was amazingly knowledgable about my car, gave me honest feedback on my repairs (including alternative options to getting it fixed, which would have meant a loss of sale for him, but that just shows his excellent customer service). He went above and beyond doing research for me and following up consistently. He suggested a mainentance plan to get my car back up to snuff after I realized the dealer had not been doing the mainentance work I had supposedly been paying for. If you own a Mini Cooper in Washington State, do NOT go to the dealer. No matter where you are, Advanced European Services is worth the drive to Kenmore to make sure you are well taken care of. Thank you Tony! I am a customer for life! Pros: Very knowledgable, excellent customer service, good price more

Great Job! 4/22/2009

My Audi is running great thanks to Tony and the Advanced European Team. Whenever I call they can get my Audi in within a day or so for oil changes and seem to be able to find any problems quickly. A great perk - they are on a major bus line. I can drop the car off in the morning and ride the bus to work and back to pick up the car at the end of the day. Thanks! more

wont ever go here with my m3 or my moms 530i 4/9/2009

They can't give u an estimate to repair your work. If ur window stops rolling up or down. Don't take it there unless u want to pay 4000 dollars because a window fell off the track.\r \r I tried asking how much per hour they charged and they couldn't tell me how much per hour they would charge me or how many avrage hours it takes to remove a door panel to that car and all they could say was they didn't know untell I drove 45 mintues down there with my car first and paid em to start the work. I would find out how much it costs after there done fixing it. And the estimate could be anything between 500 and 4000 dollars. No thanks. more

Best European Shop Around! 3/27/2009

Advanced European is my Jetta's new best friend. They've got it purring again! I've found that with the testing facilities they have they can accurately pinpoint my car's problems and quickly get them resolved. No more guessing. Tony is friendly, polite (also funny) and does what he says he'll do. He is completely up front, no surprises, and with his advice I can decide for myself what needs to be done now and what can wait. On a limited budget that's very important to me. It's a pleasure doing business with him. more

There is no better place for auto service! 3/23/2009

We've taken our 2002 BMW to Tony for years and continue to be impressed with the quality of service his team provides. They always go above and beyond what is necessary and stand fully behind their work. Hands down, the best experiences we've ever had with a mechanic shop. We've since moved out of Kenmore, but we continue to and always will make the drive up there for our auto service - it's more than worth it! Pros: honest, timely, friendly more

Have a European car? Take it here! 7/30/2008

Tony has been diagnosing and repairing cars for a very long time, and it definately shows. He is honest, knowledgeable and thorough - and I know that's what *I'm* looking for when I need work done on my car. The service is polite and efficient, and the maintenance keeps my car running properly with none of those little surprises that can really mess up my day. Pros: Easy to find, knowledgeable more

Great service, reasonable price 5/10/2008

I dropped my car off before they opened. There is a mail slot on the garage door for this. They were able to get the work done on the car the same day. The charge was reasonable and alot less than the dealer. Tony gave me a bit of free advice on a couple of cars I had been considering buying which I found helpful. Overall a very user friendly experience and a good value. more

Honest, ethical, forthright and efficient! 3/25/2008

I have taken my 2001 BMW 325i to Advance European Service on two separate occasions and will definitely continue taking my car to them. Pros: Honest, responsive, ethical more

Stay away unless you want to waste money on unneeded repairs. 3/6/2008

I was given an estimate by this person for a transmission replacement, front brake pads, and a broken motor mount. I was suspicious about this as I was only having trouble with the engine stalling which was caused, as we found out later, by a bad chip in one of my keys. This estimate came to almost $4000. I then took the car to another mechanic who had moved to another town and who I trusted. He did a transmission service on it and checked the car. The engine and transmissin are fine, there is no broken motor mount, and the brakes do not need replacement yet. I guess because I'm a woman and a senior, he figured I was an easy mark. I'm not as stupid as I look!! Beware of these people. Cons: Everything more

great work and friendly service 1/31/2008

I want to thank Tony and the crew for their great work on my vehicle. I've had bad experiences at other auto repair shops and am thankful that I happened on one with personnel who are professional in not only repairing my car in an expert reliable manner, but are client friendly, courtious and respectful. I never got the impression my car was less important than any others that pass through their shop. I am pleased with the overall experience and appreciative of their excellent service. Pros: services, customer satisfaction, thumbs up more
