ADIO Chiropractic

Had a very bad experience with this chiropractic center. Fistly, the location is in a very bad part of town, makes you feel like you're in a third world country and it does not help that you practically have go through a dive bar with shared entrances to get in building! Dr Mike is anything but holistic, feels like he was talking at me the whole time which put me on edge...just did not get a warm fuzzy feeling from this guy...too bad more

I've been going to ADIO Chiropractic Los Angeles for a few years now. I had to find a chiropractor in LA since I was ending up in the area more often for work (now living here). I was hesitant since I was use to seeing my old chiropractor in North Carolina and took several months off with no care before going here. I've often asked myself, why did I wait? Not sure I was going to find someone as good as my last chiropractor, happy I did.\r \r The staff is terrific, Dr. Michael offers the kind of chiropractic adjustments I like. They are not too rough but not to soft. I like actually hearing things move which I always joke has me feeling things are getting done and making my back better. When I started back with chiropractic care I was going two times a week. I did that for a few months and got back on my regular workout schedule as well.\r \r The office is great about keeping you on track with your fitness goals, if that's something you want to do. Dr. Michael asks me on every visit about my running, stretching, what I'm eating, etc... It's a good feeling knowing I have a chiropractor that cares about my health.\r \r Staff is very friendly and I've not ever had a difficult time getting an appointment for an adjustment. I get my back, neck and low back worked on, he's also great with adjusting hips, my favorite.\r \r If you're wanting an office that's down to earth, has a caring staff, and chiropractor that knows his stuff, this is the place. Every visit I had here was exceptional. Michael takes a personal interest in all his patients well being. His goal is to not just take your money but to heal you as fast and efficiently as possible. X-ray machine in the office if necessary. I went to him once or twice a week for a few weeks and combined with the great exercises he recommended I have been feeling great for months. His receptionist Rose is quite friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommended!!!!!I even drove from the other side of LA just to continue going to him!!!!!!5 stars !!! I've been to more than my share of chiropractors, and many times have not been impressed. I had a shoulder injury resurface that hadn't bothered me for 8 years, and nothing worked to fix it! I searched for chiropractors online and Dr. Mike was the highest ranked DC in my area... so I payed him a visit and was fixed completely in just 3 visits! Now on the occasion that something happens where I need an adjustment, I just go to Dr. Mike. He has had my business for nearly two years now, and has done an excellent job! I'm I professional stunt woman and have been to so many chiropractors in my life. Dr. Mike is a true healer. His adjustments are strong, but not jarring. I've had major back trauma and many other chiros haven't been able to adjust my hips to alleviate my sciatica, but Dr. Mike does it with such ease. Rose is a doll and always accommodates my random schedule and I never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. They have a flexion distraction table that stretches my spine and it's so helpful and awesome. Dr. Mike is the best back cracker in town. more

My father is a chiropractor from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa (Where Chiropractic originated) I have been treated by him and over 25 different chiropractors in my life. Let me be the first to tell you that I have a deep understanding of the profession. The reality is not all chiropractors are the same. Super friendly staff, with very little waiting time to get adjusted. I don't have insurance and we were able to work out an affordable plan. Easy scheduling, and they are always available just in case I need to come in on a day I'm not regularly scheduled for. more

Dr. Mike has been treating me for a little over a year now and he is great. At first I came to him because I took a hard fall, but then kept going back to him because any time I felt a little sore or out of place he took a few minutes out of his day to put me back into place, and I didn't always have to have an appointment. He and his staff have always made me feel welcome and better, I highly recommend him as a doctor. more

I threw my back out over the holidays this winter. It was pretty bad, I was actually crawling around on the floor for a bit. Dr. Mike had me come in, he took some xrays and worked on me a bit. The xrays showed that I had some pretty bad compression in my lower vertebrae. I've been seeing Dr. Mike as regularly as I can given my schedule and there's definitely been solid improvement. I'd definitely recommend ADIO to anyone seeking a chiropractor. Pros: Easy to park, not far off of the 405, friendly staff more

Dr. Mike is #1. I've been getting adjusted at ADIO CHIROPRACTICS for about 6 years and will keep going back. It's made such a difference in my daily life from sleeping to helping keep active in all my sports. I feel such a huge relief after coming into the office and being adjusted. I been to other chiropractors, but Dr. Mike is the master of adjustments. He took time listen to what I had to say. I moved to Los Angeles and had hard time looking a chiropractor that practice the same believes as my previous. I was glad to find him. He made my care affordable in order to get well. ADIO Chiropractic is great!!!!! I have been getting adjusted there for approximately two months and I can really feel the difference. After my adjustments, I feel a huge burst of energy that nothing else can compare to. I will be starting school soon and I totally feel prepared for it. Dr. Mike and my previous Chiropractor have SAVED me from back surgery. Over 10 years ago an Ortho & a Neuro MD each proposed surgery. As a health care professional of some 47 years I've seen the ""successes"" of such surgery & wanted no part of that. Dr. Mike has been & is always there for me for a ""tune up"" or acute situation inevitably knowing the source of the problem & inevitably getting me active and mobile again. Rose is a gem - I seriously doubt she has a pesimistic/sad/depressed bone in her body! It's a joy to come to the office where I always feel welcome no matter how lousy I feel, and where when I leave I feel SO much better not only physically, but emotionally as well. Dr. Mike Dorausch is a fantastic chiropractor! His personable attitude and easy appoint availability make him and his staff the best in L.A. (and probably elsewhere, too). By seeing Dr. Mike on a semi-regular basis for the past 2+ years, I have noticed an improvement in my overall health, and have been able to avoid seeing an M.D. and taking their prescribed medications. THANK YOU, DR. MIKE! Pros: Very easy to deal with--insurance, no insurance, doesn't matter. His focus is on the patient, not the method of payment. Cons: None! more
