I got cable thru Adelphia a few years back, with the understanding that I would get an offer. Once the offer expired, they started billing me the outrageous regular price, so I immediately cancelled my services. I scheduled them to pick up the cable box which they never did. Next thing I knew, they had reported me to all 3 credit beaureus (sp?). I took the box back & got a letter of apology from the then-GM. I sent it to the credit co's for update, but 4 years later, they're still desputing that I owe them money despite their screw-up. I am discusted by the way Adelphia cable does business and their lack of regard for their customer's well-being. This incident has costed me lots of time and money! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They are TERRIBLE!
