Adar Kosher Pizza 8/4/2005

Being the only kosher pizza place that I know of in town at the moment, this place is usually packed full. It takes a while to get your food, but once you do, it's pretty good. The people who work here are pretty nice, considering that they have to tend to so many people at once. Overall, this pizza joint is just about average as there's nothing too special about it, besides it being kosher and all. more

The biggest pro- For those who keep cholov Yisroel you can get ice cream here. The biggest con- usually very crowded, and slightly more expensive than a typical pizza place. So far, every time I ate here the pizza was good. I run a travel camp and the kids always give it rave reviews (Of course three weeks of hiking and eating tuna fish before we get here may have something to do with that ;-) ) more

At Adar Pizza, the food varies greatly from trip to trip. There is very little consitancy in the quality (or portion size) of the food. Unfortunately they are the only kosher pizza place in town, so they get lots of business that way and they aren't inclined to change their ways because of it. It may be better (for people who live in Vegas or can get a microwave in their hotel room) to go to the store and buy a frozen pizza/pasta dish and nuke it yourself. If you just really want to get out of the house, Adar isn't awful, just pricey and chancey on quality. I've eaten there alot (since it's the only option) but I also look forward to getting out of town and really eating a GOOD pizza. more
