I had a fantastic experience with Iris at Acupuncture Remedies. I had never tried acupuncture before but was very stressed out and had heard that acupuncture could help. Iris came very highly recommended so I gave it a try. I was so surprised about how relaxed I felt when leaving the office. Iris made me feel very comfortable and was very clear when explaining exactly what she was doing and why. I am now addicted to her services! As a pretty stressed out fashion entrepreneur, Iris and Acupuncture Remedies have been a life - altering experience!! more

Amazing Experience 5/9/2011

Being new to the world of acupuncture, and nervous about needles-- I was quickly eased with Iris's calm demeanor and knowledge. She mostly works with women as my wife has been going to her and suggested that she could assist me with my joint pain. I never imagined I'd feel so relaxed and that I'd fall asleep on the treatment table, but I did. My joint pain has eased up tremendously with a series of visits. Go see Iris! I already sent my best friend's son and he likes it too. more

Taking The Mystery Out of Acupuncture!! 6/18/2010

I was new to acupuncture and Iris was extremely knowledgeable and communicated clearly. She explained everything as she was doing it. I signed up for 6 sessions and have been getting results for the problem I went to see her for. more

Truly a wonderful experience! 5/12/2010

I had never tried acupuncture before, but was looking for a way to improve my overall ""women's wellness"" and figured it couldn't hurt. I'm glad I found Iris! She is very thorough and gets to know everything about you. Her process is very gentle; and she takes care to cover not only what ails me physically, but addresses my emotional needs as well. Since beginning I have experienced improved digestion (an excellent extra benefit), less painful menstruation, as well as an reduced stress level. I highly recommend her. Wonderful way to relieve stress 4/24/2010

Iris is located in a very convenient area of NY and is very willing to work with your schedule. I went to her to try to find relief from headaches and she was able to help relieve tension in my jaw and neck. I highly recommend her, especially as she takes a plethora of insurances! I love my weekly appointment with Iris at Acupuncture Remedies. I try and go in the middle of the day and it is a perfect way to relax and destress before heading back to the office. Iris is very attentive and extremely personable. The needles have never hurt and I truly am starting to feel a bit better each day. I highly recommend this place! I have been going to Iris for the past few months and am now completely turned on to acupuncture. Iris has the ability to understand her clients and target exactly what is needed. Finally, someone who listens, who really hears you 4/10/2010

I have been suffering with RA for several months. A close friend of mine suggested that I try acupuncture. She knew of an acupuncturist who has had success treating RA pain. That's all I needed to hear. I called and made an appointment right away. I met beautiful Iris, and after a careful intake, and much discussion, we started a treatment plan. This woman belongs in a mental hospital! 3/25/2010

Just an over all bad experience. I went to her hoping for a child and wasted my time, money and she lead me on. I really think she is mentally unstable.\r Her acupuncture hurts, the surroundings made me uncomfortable and she was impossible to get a hold of when I had questions.\r \r Find a real expert. AMAZING! SAVED MY QUALITY OF LIFE! SHE'S MAGIC! 3/20/2010

For years I have had horrible pain in my back especially during that time of the month and I always I thought I had to live with it. I was glancing through New York Magazine in the nail salon and read about the famous Acupuncture Remedies. With lots of nervous energy, I called and said I highly doubt you could help me but every month for that week, my lower back is in extreme pain. Iris was so warm and caring on the telephone. I made an appointment. From the first appointment, my life had changed. Iris new exactly what to do to give me that week back each month. She works magic and can do what no doctors or medicine could do for years! I can't thank her enough for changing my life! I wish I met her years ago. Call Iris! The healing power of Iris Netzer!!! 3/18/2010

During Pregnancy, I developed debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis - At first I went to Chiropractors, then PTs nothing relieved the pain! Iris was recommended by a friend and upon first meeting she relieved the pain! I went to her throughout my pregnancy and she kept this radiating pain away. I have suffered from migraine headaches for decades and take three daily medicines to prevent them or stop them. After just a few visits with Iris, my headaches and muscle tension are much improved, and I am taking less medicine. This is the best remedy that I have used for migraines. Lovely Iris 3/6/2010

I found Iris through New York magazine and I began to see her somewhat regularly for lifelong PMS pain and symptoms that went away within a few sessions. My sleep and general sense well-being also greatly improved during this time, and my stress level (which is usually pretty high) dropped dramatically. Iris is compassionate and nurturing; she listens carefully to her patients and is flexible and accommodating with her schedule. She is a joy to be around--smart and funny and worldly--and just pretty damn cool in general. more

Kept Me In The Game 3/4/2010

I was recommended to Ms. Netzer by a colleague who swore by her work in acupuncture. I was suffering chronic pain and lack of movement in my shoulder which was threatening to end my athletic endeavors. I had been to doctors, a physical therapist, etc. who couldn't help aside from recommending higher doses of motrin. Within 45 minutes of seeing Iris my pain began to lighten. In the days that followed it was almost non-existent. I followed up with bi-weekly appointments and now have complete movement in my shoulder and am pain free!! I'm still amazed that a bunch of tiny needles did the ""trick"", but the ""trick"" it did! Ms. Netzer is professional and listened to my concerns without judgement. I recommend her highly! Great experience for those who are sceptical of acupuncture! 4/13/2008

My husband and I were trying to conceive our first child and realized it wasn't as easy as we thought it would. We first went to a fertility specialist and while all our tests came back normal, they put me on Clomid and encouraged us to do an IUI. We ended up having two IUIs and both failed. We couldn't understand why it was so difficult and it was becoming very stressful since there was no reasonable explanation as to why we weren't conceiving. We decided to take the month of March off and just not try anymore. I read that acupuncture could help with stress so we decided to call Iris and try it out. When I first went, I was so impressed how relaxed I felt afterwards! Iris was amazing and I went home recommending her service to everyone! The best part about the whole experience is that after 5 visits with her, I found out that I was pregnant with our first child. I was so grateful for my experience with Iris and couldn't be happier to be a mom of a beautiful healthy baby boy! more

Life Changing 3/29/2008

I was referred to Iris by a friend from work. At the time I was suffering from digestion problems and other possibly stress related issues. I noticed improvement after only the first session and within four or five I was completely cured! Iris' expertise and manner are outstanding and the proof really is in the long lasting results I have had. It has been incredible to find such an effective and natural remedy with no medications, etc. Iris also really listens and gets to the root of the problem to personally tailor treatment. She is fantastic. I truly look forward to my appointments with her! more

Definitely recommend 1/24/2007

After trying to conceive for a year with no luck, and before turning to hard core western medicine for treatment, I went to Iris for acupuncture. She is fantastic. Very patient, very warm and approachable. And I can happily say, the acupuncture treatment was a success! My husband and I are expecting a child this year. I would highly recommend her. more
