Acadia Cafe 3/29/2006

Acadia Cafe is a fun coffee shop/cafe in Minneapolis, right on eat street. They offer a few sandwiches and desserts, coffee, and beer and wine. Their selection is minimal, but fits the bill when you are hungry. They have an awesome Grilled Cheese! They have a theatre that hosts live theatre performed by area artists and small theatre companies. And of course, you can bring your food/drink into the show. They also have Sunday morning music by area musicians. This place is laid back and comfortable, with couches and tables. more

Acadia Cafe isn't your normal neighborhood cafe 7/29/2005

Acadia Cafe isn't your normal neighborhood cafe. Located on Franklin and Nicollet, this cafe offers a huge selection of tap beers and wine, as well as decent food at a moderately high price. But after you've downed a few taps that you can't find anywhere else, you'll just about pay anything for some reasonable food. Adjacent to the cafe is a theater with music, drama skits, etc every night of the week. Cover charges are usually less than $5. This cafe is the hidden treasure that everyone should discover. It's perfect for a club meeting, working brunch, or a quiet night out from the frat boys hollering to their friends on cell phones about how drunk they are. more
