I just want to thank Able Heating and Cooling for providing the utmost service. They went above and beyond to provide us with a new heat pump for our home. We have put off the daunting task of having a new heat pump installed because we knew it would be expensive but Able Heating and Cooling made it affordable and easy. Kelly and his staff are very sincere in their work and I felt as if they were genuinely looking out for our best interest. I will highly recommend their services to anyone and everyone. Thank you for all your time and help and getting us set for winter. more

EXCELLENT! 8/10/2016

Armando is fantastic. He is knowledgeable, very friendly and professional, and provided excellent service. He is honest and hard working. He spent extra time answering my questions as I did not fully understand how my AC and furnace were functioning and what care they needed. He was very thorough and a delight to have in my home. My AC is running much better and I expect my energy costs will go down. more

Total Home Run!!! 1/8/2016

We hit a home run when we chose Able Heating and Cooling to replace the 30 year old Heat Pump system in our home. A number of friends told us who not to use. So, we depended on the experience and reviews of other via the internet. We called 3 higher rated companies and it was clear from the start that Able had the knowledge, experience, capability and customer service required to do the job. They explained everything. Showed up when they said they would. Performed the work professionally and followed up after the installation to make certain that we were satisfied. They additionally completed all of the paperwork required for the energy tax credits which we qualified for. They have earned my trust and I will be referring them to friends. more

If or when I need furnace or air conditioning work, this is where I will go. 12/9/2015

Was pleasantly surprised, called around noon and the owner was at our house that evening evaluating our needs. After discussing different needs, wants and issues with our old furnace and ducting I was handed a printout of 6 different options. We discussed the pros and cons. I made my choice and signed a contract. This was on a Monday night, on Wednesday morning at 8:30 the installation crew was backing into the driveway to install the furnace, air conditioning and filter stack. By 3:30 Wednesday afternoon we had heat. The crew came back the following week to finish the air conditioning installation. I chose to do the air at a later date to allow for other people without heat to be service as it was in the mid 20's that week and I did not need the air. We have had heat now for two weeks. We will have the county inspection next week at which time I will again meet with Kelly to go over any issues, needs or questions I may have. After all of this is finish I will then be asked for the payment. This blew me away, they did not have to order anything from the factory, it was all in stock and I was not asked for any payment up front. It has been a long time since I have had this kind of service with a smile. more

Very personable and professional! 11/18/2015

I was recommended by a friend of mine to Able Heating and Cooling and decided to give them a call to have them upgrade my thermostat. What impressed me the most about my experience with them was the honesty of the gentleman who came out to do the tune-up. He explained to me exactly what he was doing and why in terms that I could understand. He actually also found some errors that a previous company had made, corrected them, and explained to me what the issues were. I appreciated that he gave me quite a few choices to choose from, three or four different options of thermostats, and informed me on the various features that each of them had. I didn't feel like he was trying to upsell me at all and thought their prices for the service call and upgrade were very reasonable. Though I hope I won't have to have another tune-up for awhile, if for whatever reason I do, I will definitely be going back to Able Heating and Cooling. more

A pleasure to deal with! 10/7/2015

Able Heating & Cooling went above and beyond what I expected- about 4 or 5 times above! The customer service has been excellent; I couldn't ask for more. The most recent project they did for me involved some type of critter that was going under the house through the crack where the heating pipes go through the wall. Once I realized something had gotten under there, I called and asked them to come over and close up the hole. They sealed it up with a metal plate, but unbeknownst to anyone, they actually sealed the critter inside the wall! I heard it scratching under the floor that night, so I called them again and they came back out and removed the metal plate. We waited a couple of days to make sure it had left, and then I went in to examine the damage. It had torn up the duct work and insulation with its scratching, so I had them come back out to repair that. When they went down to do the repair I asked them to please check to be sure that it was gone. They repaired everything and assured me it was fine, and we got the metal plate sealed up again. The customer service was absolutely wonderful. Sometimes in companies like this, some people are better than others with customer service, but with Able Heating & Cooling everyone is excellent. They have staffed and trained people very well- everybody I spoke with on the phone and every technician who came out was equally polite and helpful. They called ahead and confirmed when they would be there in 15 minutes, the technician was very courteous, and they did an excellent job. The price for the project was very good. I actually called around to get bids, and I was afraid of what the price would be, but Able had the best price and they were so fair about everything. I have them set up to come once a year to check out the heater and AC to be sure everything is running well. They came out several months ago and everything was fine. I would highly recommend Able Heating & Cooling to anyone, and I have already recommended them to my friends. They are prompt, courteous, thorough, and their pricing and customer service is excellent! more

Total disappointment 8/18/2015

We have had regular problems - freezing cold (the house was 55 degrees), non working thermostat (now it's 80 degrees inside), leaking pipes due to lack of insulation and I could go on. We spent an enormous amount of money for a top of the line system - and all we have is problems. They sound like they know what they're talking about - but can't deliver. more

First time customer and now a life-long customer! 6/19/2015

I give Able Heating & Cooling LLC five stars. I only have one minor suggestion (and maybe even my fault) about the pricing that was not given to me upfront before the work was done. The price turned out to be just fine, but just in case the price would have been out of the ordinary, I didn't know how much I'd have to pay. Again, this was just a minor detail. As far as the technician, I called when my AC went out mentioning the earliest time would work better for me. He came to my house one our early (instead of eight in the morning), which worked out well for me because it gave me time to go to work. Definitely a five star rating all the way! I highly recommend this company; it's efficient and has great customer service. The technician educated me about my AC. In the end, the pricing was very reasonable. I learned maybe next time I'll just ask about the price instead. more

Wowed me! 8/23/2014

Wow to knowledge - knew of a solution to my heat pump freezing up while two others, our intaller and a service company, did not. Wow to speed - came the same day even though it would obviously run past 5 PM. Wow to courtesy and friendliness. Finally I found a heating and air conditioning company that does things right. more

We had Able Heating & Cooling come in and debug some problems and we got the improved performance that we wanted. The operator was very helpful and informative. He was very capable. He found the problem and solved it quickly. Didn't charge us extra. more

My first experience with Able Heating & Cooling LLC was when I purchased a heating and cooling unit from them three years ago. They are very respectful of you and your home. When they come over, it is like having my son-in-laws come over to help me. It's absolutely wonderful! I would highly recommend them! You won't be sorry if you use them. Able Heating & Cooling LLC always look out for us. We purchased our furnace through them, and they give us friendly reminder calls when it is time to get it cleaned, so that we don't end up with any problems when there is bad weather out. They're very polite about it. You can tell there is a personal touch to their service. James is the guy who calls to set up everything, and he is very patient. Armando was the one who did the servicing. I had a lot of questions to make sure the furnace was going to be worth it. He explained everything that he was going to do. He was very experienced, knowledgeable, and expedient. He was also friendly. When he came back for a cleaning, he even remembered our home from his first visit. He remembered we had a dog and everything, too. We had a very pleasant experience with them. We just get the sense that they are taking care of us. more

He was incredibly informative, in-tune about where to go to look for things, and just an excellent employee. He represents the company very well and would definitely get my recommendation. We're looking to upgrade our HVAC unit, so Armando gave me some pointers and an overview of what would be good for our house in particular. He could really handle any kind of situation! I will be calling Able Heating & Cooling again when we finally get to the HVAC after other projects. more
