On first glance, this place looks like the place you went to in college with your fake ID, and still got served--it's big inside, with lots of TV screen room, with pool shooting, and the kind of bathrooms where punk rockers probably went to die (if it was a punk rock club). A lot of Irish locals can be found here, too, ironically; the booze is on the cheap. But like all Geary Irish Bars that wish they were Clement St. Irish Bars, it lacks true Irish charm, that just can't be filled unless it's St. Patrick's Day with a lot of green beer and late-night, drunken stare contests. It's a party, though. Especially on Friday and Saturday nights.
