Great Service, Great Price 6/2/2009

My husband and I were in the market for flooring and decided to try Abbey Carpet and Floors, which has since been changed to Flooring America. As we walked in, were were immediately impressed with the friendly staff, neatness and organization of the store and the knowledge and willingness of the staff to work within our budget and our needs. We immediately decided to buy. Our salesperson, Allen Bock, told us that the Scheduling Department would call us to schedule once our new material arrived. We were called within 3 days and the installation scheduled. The installation team was wonderful! They called on the way, were on time, professional and cleaned up after. Once our new floor was installed, we were contacted by another representative of the company to find out what we thought of the entire process and we informed them that it was a great experience. So, Flooring America is definately the place to go for all of your flooring needs. We have since been contacted informing us that they have another division, which is a Design Build Division and they do everything from home remodeling to new construction. You definitely cannot go wrong at Flooring America from the moment you walk in through the completion of the installation, everyone makes you feel appreciated! more

Ongoing problems with no end in sight. 12/27/2005

I have been working with Abbey Carpet for several years to resolve problems with my flooring installation. Repairs have been made to these problems but the repairs did not hold up. One problem is that the people selling the product are not the ones installing it. Also, the workers that performed the work were not actual employees of the company. We were not informed of this when we contracted with the company. It seems to be common practice in this line of business to subcontract, but they did not send a company representative to oversee the work. Had this been done, the rework may have been prevented. There were also some language difficulties. I recommend looking elsewhere for flooring services. more
