Ed Faber from Aaron Faber Gallery is a scam artist with no morals using the typical bait and switch ploy con artists often do. I was promised a new Patek watch and he tried to slip a used piece by me. Unfortunately, I have to resort to suing Ed Faber for his dishonest business practices. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMER!!! more

If there was a business that epitomised bad business practices this is it. Edward Faber has no moral conscience about taking my money and supplying defective goods. There is no warranty, no return and no truth in their business regime. A tip to all......do not go to them no matter what, they have no conscience or integrity. more

I have been a long time purchase and repair customer at the Aaron Faber Gallery. The sales staff, led by Edward Faber with Jerri and Felice, are extremely knowledgeable and then provide full follow-up after purchase. The Service Department is a delight to deal with for every situation. Debbi Davis is always friendly, courteous and helpful. Maria, who heads the Dept. is a delight, and will go to the end of the earth to find the needed watch strap, missing part, or get a repair done in time for an important deadline. this is a quality establishment from top to bottom! Oustanding people & service 8/11/2009

Have bought and traded a number of watches with the store and my wife found an amazing pocket watch for my wedding gift. The service department consistantly delivers on everything from basic service and repair to more complex adjustments and engravings. Only place in NY I would take my fine watches. Wonderful Repair Shop and Gallery 8/5/2009

Aaron Faber Repair has fixed at least 8 timepieces for me all of which were extremely valuable - and some were antique. The service is excellent, the staff friendly, and the prices are fair for the incredible work that they do. They can really fix what can't be fixed by others. Their watchmakers are wonderful! Also, they have an extensive collection of beautiful watch bands, and they know how to pair the right band with a watch. I wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend them. Dishonest business and terrible repair experience 7/31/2009

I have had numerous bad experiences with this jeweler. They are dishonest and inconsistent and their repair department has damaged a precious heirloom piece of mine. They would not assume responsibility and actually wanted to charge me for the repair of the damage they had done. The piece is ruined and I will not be able to have it restored. Best jewelry repair shop! 6/30/2009

AF Services is the only place I'd recommend for getting your jewelry repaired. I've worked with Debbie Davis on many occasions and I'm greeted with a smiling face on all my visits. By the second time she had remembered my name! Her keen eye for design and style has turned some of my pieces that have been locked away for years, into fashionable jewelry I get complimented on all the time. Thanks for you great work! Dependable repairs on antique jewelry 6/8/2009

I have a pretty extensive collection of antique jewelry from my grandmother. The pieces are very old and as a result, some are in disrepair. Aaron Faber has done excellent work in fixing broken pieces including locating difficult-to-find matching replacement stones when stones have fallen out. Additionally, most of their repairs have held up, even with daily wear. Their work is not inexpensive, but if you care about your jewelry and want it repaired properly, its a good choice. Creative solutions for meaningful jewelry 6/7/2009

I have been going to Aaron Faber for jewelry and watch repair for years and have nothing but glowing accolades to say about them. Here's just one recent story. Upon my mother's death over 25 years ago, I inherited her amethyst ring which I never wore because I didn't like the setting. I pulled it out of a drawer this year and brought it to Debbie Davis at Aaron Faber. Debbie immediately envisioned the gem in a new setting that, when I picked it up a couple of weeks later, took my breath away. I now have my mother's ring to wear thanks to her and the great craftspeople at AF. They are the only people I would entrust my jewelry with. Pros: Every piece of jewelry you bring to them is precious to them Cons: NONE more

avoid their repair shop 11/30/2007

Aaron Faber Repairs probably damaged an heirloom diamond in a ring that I had converted into another piece of jewelry. Although it is possible that the damage was preexisting, they called me to tell me of the damage AFTER the conversion was completed, not before, as I am fairly sure they would have done had the damage not been their fault (simply to avoid liability). They should have checked the diamond thoroughly before starting work, and let me know of any preexisting damages to the stone. While they did offer some compensation, they were extremely cagey and difficult about the entire process. I would NOT recommend them. more
