Cosmopolitan Travel Services and Gateway Travel, now answering their phones as A & J Wholesale Travel, together quoted a very good discount fare my nephew and neice to travel to Bangkok of $975. Obviously, it meant multiple stops, long stayovers, etc. but I thought that was a great fare and Orbitz, etc. could only offer +/- $1150 for the same type itineray. I bought the two discount tickets and was left with nothing by litigation which I am preparing now to recoup my losses when the airline charged me $1385 per ticket. The agent at ctsfares has repeatedly communicated through my family in the Houston area that 'yes, someone made a mistake and we will fix it.' Now, 7 months later, I have to try and handle a suit from Bangkok Thailand while fighting with AMEX the whole time because all I have gotten is lip service. Don't trust your business to these theives! Does anyone know how, other than through litigation, how to get my $820 back? (i.e. is there a better business type of agency for travel agencies, etc.) Appreciate any feedback.
Pros: Found me a good discount airfare to Bangkok
Cons: Overcharged me for tickets by $410 each for two. Now refuses to communicate or fix
