Best

I started coming here right after it was built. I've seen so many movies here. I think Congo was perhaps the first one I saw, and Star Wars: A New Hope SE being the last, and many...

Worst

Great price but unfortunately the concession service was extremely slow and I got terribly sick from the popcorn...probably the butter. Maybe I'll go to Edwards next time!

Awesome theater! 11/13/2006

I started coming here right after it was built. I've seen so many movies here. I think Congo was perhaps the first one I saw, and Star Wars: A New Hope SE being the last, and many many movies in between. The seats are big and comfy, the screens are large and bright, and the sound systems are awesome! I wish I still lived in this area; I'd definitely keep coming back! They even have older movies come back for special screenings (I've seen Gone With the Wind and Raiders of the Lost Ark here). more

I had a really great time at this theatre! it was my son's 1st visit to a movie theatre and he had a ball. We saw Chicken Little. He loved it! The best part was that there was this child completely disturbing the movie and right when i was going to leave to complain their employee in charge of checking theatres walked in and gave the parents a warning! After that she proceeded to escort them out and the rest of us including my son got to enjoy the movie we spent our money on! I really enjoyed my experience. thank you AMC Ontario mills for such a good time that my son will never forget. Pros: Respectful People, Helpful Guest Service, Smiling Concessionist Cons: Prices more

Let's go to the movies! 7/29/2002

Oh, man! This place is the best. I first experienced this masterpiece of family movie going when I caught Disney's Tarzan when relatives came to visit. Parking -- plentiful, the only hitch is getting through the lot traffic, but it's because the place is huge. Everything else was smooth as silk. Lots of ways to get tickets, 30 theaters at your service, multiple consession stands, Bucket seats with your own armrests, giant isles for the long-legged folks like me, best sound, and big, beautiful screens. The in-house arcade was fair, but Gameworks is next door anyway. This is where I go for the major premire blockbusters, like Spiderman. Pros: Great seats,, Great time,, Great theater. more

  • In Short
In 1920, Edward Durwood opened a single-screen picture house in Kansas City, Mo. Over the next 40 years, his company went on to pioneer the use of four- and six-screen theaters. In 1969, the company incorporated as American Multi-Cinema Inc. in honor of its signature multiplexes. Now, the company is known for theaters with 14 or more screens, as well as innovations such as armrests with built-in cup holders, stadium seating with LoveSeats, ATM-style ticketing and online ticket purchasing.
