Over 15 years ago the owner of A Secret Place Salon & Day Spa had a dream of opening her own business that would become a place of serenity, relaxation, and an escape for both men and women. What started as a small hair salon with only a few Spa services available has now grown to an upscale full salon and day spa that offers a wide range of specialty services. A Secret Place Salon & Day Spa is beautifully located in downtown Ventura in the Old Bank of Italy Building on the corner of Oak and Main Streets. Our goal is to pamper each and every client that comes through our doors and at the same time make them feel like they are in a place that they can call home. We want them to feel the warmth and love that is put into our business while we are dedicated to making them look and feel outstanding. Your day sometimes gets the best of you and you may not enter our doors with a smile but our goal is to make sure that by the time you leave you will have one on your face. A Secret Place Salon currently has 13 hairstylists that can create anything from refined hairstyles to today’s more trendy looks. We take pride in our training, updating our techniques with the newest classes, and providing top of the line products. Our stylists also specialize in special events such as wedding styles, school dances, upscale events, and much more. We have three aestheticians and each one provides specialty services like spray tanning, teeth whitening, as well as the ability to perform the standards of the business with excellence. In our spa area we also have very relaxing massage rooms where we offer traditional massages, hot rock massages, raindrop therapy massages and pregnancy massages from a list of very well trained massage technicians. Our spa also offers permanent make-up, make-up lessons, bio-therapeutic face lifts, and Senna Cosmetics. We offer fresh coffee and snacks for all clients and a fruit infused ice water, iced tea and Chai tea to help enhance the relaxation process. A Secret Place is a great idea for Bachelorette parties, a day at the spa for a loved one, personal getaways, and continual personal upkeep.
