Ms. Vaughn never finished our bridesmaids outfits. She was running very behind, and vowed to work all night the night before our wedding. As soon as we left for the rehearsal dinner, she ditched out. So we sued her, and a judge awarded us the price we paid her, the price of the fabric, the fee for the "emergency" seamstress, court fees, and interest. It has been years since the judgment was entered, and Ms. Vaughn has yet to pay anything. Please know before hiring her to do any job of consequence that she is accustomed to biting off far more than she can chew. more

GREAT job 12/30/2010

Linda has always done a GREAT job for us. We've been going to her for over 12 years. She has hemmed all our prom dresses, a wedding dress even creating a bustle. My daughter cut shorts for her costume too short and Linda added material making it look great. My son just took several items in and she made the sleeves of the dress shirt 2 inches shorter replacing the cuffs perfect. She also converted a pair of dress pants to supender pants. She's quick and does a fabulous job. more

It is a Perfect Fit! 9/3/2009

I have taken my clothing to a Perfect Fit for at least 10 years. Linda always does a great job! She's taken things in and let things out and redesigned garments. Several times when I was in the shop brides were bringing their bride dresses to her because another seamstress did not do the alterations correctly. Linda corrected the mistakes an the young women were very happy. Sorry to others who did not have a great experience, but mine has been consistently high quality. more

NOT perfect 6/9/2006

I went to A Perfect Fit out of a reference to get my wedding gown altered. Linda seemed to know what she was doing and I made the mistake of trusting her with my most prized possession right away. After 8 meetings with her not being able to get it right and much anguish on my part I finally asked to take the dress elsewhere while there was still time to fix it. My new seamstress found major mistakes that even I didn't notice and even stains! Now its been two weeks after the wedding and the money I demanded she return has come back in the form of a return check! I make it a point to tell everyone I know NOT to go to A Perfect Fit. more

Far from perfect 8/10/2005

A Perfect Fit is a place where that is far from perfect. The company's staff is kind but not very qualified. They take too long to do their job. They are highly over price. They do SEEM to know what they are doing but I could not be sure. Their hours of operation are kind of off from what a working person needs to get things done. I would definitely not recommend going to this place for any reason. more
