My first day at The Salon 12/12/2011

I have never had such a wonderful experience at a Salon. They made me feel like I was the Queen of England. They are certainly there to serve and make you day special. I would actually recommend this to the Queen of England... Try it ..you will Love it....... Linda Sue more

Amazing, as always 12/9/2011

After a long day it was great to sink into the chair, have the incredible head message that accompanies every shampoo, and then get a haircut. I have been a regular at A Better Day Salon for years, with Douglas, and love the fact that my cut is never stale, always fabulous. The staff and the new facility are top notch. The dedication to the community is an added benefit. Check it out! more

It's a reasonably priced, good haircut for those who don't want a uber fashionable salon but don't want to go to Supercuts either. The wall decor could use help/updating but all of the stylists seemed nice and experienced. A big plus was the flat rate for the cut and no tipping. I'd visit again. more

A Better Experience at A Better Day Salon 12/1/2011

Customer service is what these people do best. They are all just wonderful, from the greeting and great coffee when you arrive, to Laura's wash and scalp massage, to the expert haircut with Douglas. They work well together, like each other, and it is apparent in the end result - customer satisfaction. more

Excellent Cut and Color 11/29/2011

I called A Better Day Salon a week before my regularly scheduled appointment. I was going out of town on business and would need to cancel my appt for that week. Janiece the owner fit me in to the schedule if I could be flexible with time. As always her team did an excellent job and I was able to walk out looking fabulous for my business trip. I would highly recommend the team at A Better Day. They really care about giving you the experience you want for a reasonable price. The haircare products they use are top and my personal favorite is Aveda. In fact, my hair has never been healthier and more natural since using Aveda color. more

I wish I had found Jeniece and the salon years ago. Every time I have my hair cut, friends compliment my hair. A Better Day Salon is a great place for your hair care! Jeniece also does great highlights at a very reasonable cost. more

Haircut and style 11/6/2011

I have fine, thinning hair and it has always been a challenge to find a cut and style that works. Douglas took the time to create the perfect cut for me. It looks beautiful and is easy for me to work with. Thank you so much for your skill and your patience, Douglas. Let me also add that the salon itself is beautiful and is a very smooth and efficient operation, and all the people who work there are calm, polite, and helpful. I will definitely be back. more

Great Hair, great people! 11/4/2011

This is not a place where you are required to worship the rock star who is gracing you with an appointment and a pretty bad hair cut with a toxic hair coloring. It is the real deal. These are truly good people who know their craft and care about hair. I went to A Better Day Salon on a recommendation by a friend (which is what they consider the tip). I have rich, beautiful, curly hair. Jeniece returned my hair to a state of health and beauty. Everything from the color, conditioning, and cut to the styling product were all that my hair needed to be its best. I have great respect for Jeniece and her skill, as well as her integrity. And the same seems to go for everyone in there. The prices are beyond reasonable. This is a true Aveda salon. I highly recommend Jeniece and A Better Day Salon. with gratitude. more

The Second Cut 11/3/2011

Of course when one steps out of a salon after a haircut one expects to look better. The real issue is whether or not the haircut looks as good after several days and a hairwash at home. If it does then the stylist knows what s/he is doing and one can stand to look at oneself in the mirror. So once again Russ did wonders with the shaggy mop I brought to the Better Day Salon.
