We shop at this Ranch 99 regularly. This supermarket does not only carry a large selection of fruits, vegetables, fresh meat, can food and etc., it also provide a clean environment for shoppers. You can easily find the items you are looking for from each aisles. The only drawback is that the check out lines are usually pretty long, especially during the weekends. They need to open up more registers during the busy hours. more

Good place to buy fresh seafood 9/30/2005

I always shop in this Chinese supermarket. There are plentiful vegetables and fruits. The meat prices there are cheaper than most of American supermarkets. If you like fresh seafood, I definitely highly recommend you to shop in this place. You can touch and feel fish you want to buy, and then choose it. But the shortcoming is the fish-like smell around the back of the supermarket. more

Nice Chinese supermarket 9/28/2005

This is one of the largest Chinese supermarket in the bay area. I've been to three ranch 99 market but this one is my favorite. I go to this market once a week to buy food. They have a huge selection that I can almost buy everything I need here. But one negative is that I can barely find expired date on their groceries. Somehow I feel uncomfortable about this. more

Ranch 99 Market (Milpitas) 8/17/2005

One of the first large scale Chinese stores is a great place to pick up those hard to find Asian items. A whole two aisles dedicated to dry and fresh noodles and the entire back section dedicated to fresh meats and the big draw, fish and other seafood. It's a nice big store with lots of selection of Asian goodies. They also have a nice hot food area with wonton and noodle soups and a fairly good selection of dimsum to go or eat in their seating area. I go there almost every week to get my fix of fairly authentic Chinese food. more
