Poor Customer Service and Rude 6/1/2010

I went into 4 Sisters on my lunch hour for a simple repair of a cracked acrylic nail. \r Poor Verbal Communication - when I walked in, there was at least one nail tech seated at a work station with no customer in her chair. After I stated my reason for coming in, she pushed the client chair out with her foot! I took that as an indication that I should sit down.\r Poor English Comprehension Skills; Poor Customer Service - I stated that I need the nail repaired and showed her the crack in the acrylic. I also stated that I did not want any drilling. The nail tech told me (twice) that I needed to pick a color. I explained that Imy nails had only clear polish on them, which should have been obvious. There was no color on my nails; I had a french manicure. The nail tech finally understood this but seemed rather annoyed and hostile. She then stated that she did not have the type of tip I had on my nails. I explained that I had a set of the tips which she could use. However, this was not necessary, as all that was needed was filling in the crack with acrylic. The nail tech proceeded to apply acetone nail polish remover to my nail. Of course, this burned at the area where my nail was cracked. But there was no need to use nail polish remover, as I had no color on my nails and all that was needed was to fill in the crack and coat the bail with acrylic. She then stated ""I use acetone on you and it burns you so I can't do it. Sorry"". The nail tech then got up from her chair and walked away. She was very hostile. Overall, this was a very bad experience. I have had nails repaired before with no problem. I do not recommend 4 Sisters Nail Salon.\r Pros: Location Cons: Poor English, poor customer service skills, bad attitude more

Best nails, best price! 7/12/2007

I brought my bridal party here for manicures and pedicures the day before my wedding. The girls were very accommodating and made us feel comfortable and valued. That was my first time there, so I was very impressed. I will definitely be heading back. Pros: Good prices, fast, clean, accurate, professional more

love this place! 7/20/2006

I stumbled upon this salon once while walking around Rittenhouse Sq. area. It is such a great deal for the service you receive from the Vietnamese women who work there. They are friendly, thorough and always nice. You get more for your money, and the final product is better than big and pricey salons in the city I've tried before (Toppers, Adolf Biecker). Not only that, they have accomodated me every time I've walked in, so scheduling isn't a hassle. If you want a great mani/pedi, try this place! Pros: manicure/pedicure, cleanliness, service more

WORTH EVERY PENNY! 4/25/2003

I have only been there once but I plan on going back. This place is neater and cleaner than your average salon (think most of the ones on Chestnut, with one or 2 exceptions), the ladies are sooooo nice and friendly, prices for all services are extremely reasonable and a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax did not take an eternity. Me and a pal went on a Saturday late afternoon, chatted and relaxed before our evening out. They have a HUGE color selection and high quality stuff (OPI, MISA) too. While we were being serviced at least 2-3 other women were handled too. Prices are reasonable for a student living in the area to get a mani and pedi and leave a decent tip! They're btwn Walnut and Sansom (?) on 20th. Pros: Tons of Color choices, Efficient & friendly, But not rushed Cons: Could use more space more
