I had an excellent experience purchasing this camera online at 42nd Street Photo's website. Canon T2i, SDHC Card & extra battery 12/15/2010

I ordered a Canon T2i body, SDHC Card and extra battery. I ordered via telephone in order to take advantage of the free upgrade to double memory card. The wait to speak with someone was a bit long due to the holidays but service was excellent. Once the merchandise arrived, noticed that the memory card was not class 10, I contacted via email which they promptly called me back. A new card was sent immediately with instructions on how to send the old card back. All in all a very positive experiance. more

I purchased a Nikon D5000 camera from your site, that evening I received a call from Jack a service rep. we discussed a memory card purchase I also made at that time he told me that the card I had purchased was a little slow for my useage, he recommended a 500 speed card over a 400 sp. card, I chose not to upgrade the card, Jack told me he wanted me to be happy with my purchase and that the upgraded card would be a better choice and he would send it to me at no up charge WHICH HE DID. 42st is now my photo store of choice and a wonderful place to do business, they do what they say and say what they mean more

Awesome product and delivery 12/15/2010

This is my first time buying from 42nd street and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. The best thing about the company is how personal it is and you get a response or feedback right away for the product that you're purchasing. The fact that you can also visit the store in New York gave me a little more piece of mind. The delivery of the camera was as expected and I there were no second guessing on when it will arrive. I am very happy with this lens. It was an excellent price, and it is exactly what I expected. The pictures are clear even when zoomed. The only thing was that the warranty card was missing from the box, but I immediately called and was told that it would be sent out to me. I would definitely recommend this lens. more

Quick Cheap way to buy a camera on the internet 12/14/2010

I was looking to upgrade my digital camera, since my kids had managed to munge up many of the controls on my old one. I went onto Google Shopping to do a quick search for several models of camera in which I was interested. Consistently, 42nd St. Photo was the cheapest on every model, while also being highly rated by most everyone who had bought from them... After I ordered, I received a call from their customer service (which internet retailer actually calls you?) to verify my shipping details, as well as to make sure I had all other parts (batteries, memory and such) prior to sending out the camera, in order to save me shipping cost. A very thoughtful customer service extra that I certainly wasn't expecting... My camera arrived quickly, well packed, and has worked well for the two weeks I have had it. I certainly will include 42nd St. Photo whenever I need additional photographic equipment! more

Good: I like that the order came quick once it was confirmed and the price was good.. Bad: What I didn't like was: (1) It took too long to confirm the order. (2) The confirmation of the order was to offer products related to the item ordered. (3) The box that came with the camera does not match the order. I ordered a camera body only and the box was from a kit.. more

Best Prices Around!! 12/14/2010

I ordered the Sony Nex 5. The customer service was fantastic. I received a phonecall confirming my purchase, and received the camera sooner than I expected. There was a lot of research put into this purchase, and 42nd Street definitely has the best prices. The free cleaning product froze in the shipping and started to leak, and fortunately it did not get on the other products. I really love this camera=) more

Canon T1i Package 12/14/2010

After searching the web to find the best deal on a Canon T1i DSLR for my daughter I settled on 42nd St Photo. They had the best prices and I soon found out they also had excellent service. After some deliberation I decided to buy a package that included the camera body and 2 lenses. Since I had questions I decided to order via phone vice online. The sales rep was friendly, extremely knowledgable and there was no wait. All of my questions were answered and I decided to upgrade my package. I received the camera package in two days and now I have one less gift to buy. Many thanks! more

Good: I was very happy with the customer service. Each time I called in my questions were answered quickly. I was also happy that someone called prior to the shipping to make sure the order was correct.. Bad: I felt the time from the placement of my order to the actual shipping took a little longer than I had read from previous customers' experiences. This could be due to the holidays though.. Other: Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchase. The camera arrived safely so my experience up to that point has been great.. more

Good: Good price on Camera and prompt delivery. Bad: Talked into buying expensive SD card when same available on Amazon for $36. Improvements: It seems call from seller was just to sell more items not to verify order. I understand the ploy, but it taints future transactions when customer finds lower price.. Other: When I hestitated in buying SD card another $20 was taken off, but still over priced. Was told camera needed this card to operate. I think I could have gotten by with another owned card til I could research price difference. My fault ultimately.. more

The camera arrived quickly and was in good condition. Everything about the purchase went well, though I did not realize initially that a battery for the camera needed to be purchased separately. I did receive a call about this from the sales representative and was able to purchase it and receive it quickly. The camera works beautifully and I am very pleased with the purchase. more
