Customer service called before they shipped me the product, just to make sure I had everything I needed and exactly what I wanted in the kind of camera I ordered. I felt valuable and very satisfied. Off to a slow start. Fast finish 12/9/2010

Order confirmation E-mail stated order will be shipped on 12/2. Called on 12/7 when order tracking number was not provided. Was told order was not shipped as indicated. Apologized and promised to send order immediately.Order received on 12/9. Good follow-up. more

No business beat the price of 42nd Street Photo. I was also surprised to receive my new camera and lenses within a few days. The entire order was delivered -- no partial shipments -- which was also a plus from past experiences with other companies. New to cameras and photography, but was referred to this site by a friend and which camera to buy. The sales person was very friendly, and took his time to explain every detail to me, even offered suggestions. If I were to buy anything related to my camera, I would most definitely buy from here again. more

Good: The associate that I talked to was great and knowledgeable in what I was buying. He did not pressure me into something that I didn't need or didn't want. I like that very much.. Bad: There is nothing at this time that I could say that I did not like.. Improvements: Nothing to improve on with this experience.. Other: Product arrived in the week I ordered it, great turn around time. Product is everything and more of what I was looking for. Canon D-7. GREAT!!. more

This was my first time purchasing from 42nd Street Photo and I was 100% satisfied with everything. I purchased a Canon lens (at an amazing price) and received a call soon after I placed my order from a customer service representative wanting to ensure that my camera was compatible with the lens. It was very unexpected yet refreshing to have such wonderful customer service! The gentleman who helped me was so kind. The lens arrived in perfect condition and in record time and to top it all off, the shipping was free!! I live in Juneau, Alaska and free shipping is almost never offered to residents here. How great to know that there is still a company out there that cares about their customers. I will be using 42nd Street for all of my future camera needs and will definitely reccomend them to all my photography friends. more

I did a lot of shopping both in stores and online before buying a Canon T1I, a couple lenses, and some other items from 42nd. I did not find a lower price for any of the items I purchased anywhere else. Great prices, quick delivery, and the guy on the phone really knew his stuff. I'll be back. more
