Not only is the bartender service the worst I've ever experienced in years of frequenting 6th street, but the bartenders are actually almost comically absurd in the way they treat their patrons.
The service is mind-blowingly slow (question: how long does it take to serve 3 patrons? answer: 11 minutes), the bartenders are horrible at making drinks (weak, poor portions of other mixers), and they're just incredibly rude to each other and their customers.
I saw a guy leave a generous tip on an order that took just under 15 minutes to complete (TWO drinks with LOW volume), sign the receipt, and then was harassed about his signature. He stood up for himself, saying he had signed the tab and that was that, but the complaint from the bartender went all the way up to the afro american manager of the joint who wound up calling the cops. Apparently, you can't sign your receipt with anything other than squiggles that look like a signature. If you sign a decorative X, it's "federal forgery."
The patron was putting his open-palm hands up at chest level as he was talking, saying "that's my signature," and the manager then started to warn him about his attempts at assault. Absolutely insane, just completely absurd. My group of friends and the rest of the patrons there were totally behind the guy (who was being nothing but cooperative and nice) and none of us will ever be going back to that sty again.
You'd have to be out of your mind drunk and have no self respect to think that it's a good idea to go there. It's impossible to have a good time and the staff are uncommonly hostile and aggressive. It's just not worth it to have your mood ruined over such idiocy.
Do yourself and your group a favor by going to a bar with friendly staff who maintain your good time with quick service and a friendly atmosphere. Out of my many years of 6th street, I've never seen anything more retardedly unacceptable or been to a more worthless establishment.
Pros: None.
Cons: Slow service, hostile staff, bad vibe
