Bowling at Chelsea Piers is more fun that bowling anywhere else! Well, I don't know if that's completely true, but it's a great set of lanes and it's priced reasonably by Manhatta...

the worst place to go 8/1/2011

I have had only one good time at the 300 bowling alley at chelsea piers and over 10 below standard to utterly horrible experiences. This time I will never go back. I was treated with complete disrespect and was served food that was one step up from dog food and had human hair in it. They did not accomodate my lane request because of a camp reservation and then proceeded to tell me to move mid game because of the very same reason that they could not accomodate me. To which I said I would be leaving and they proceeded to shut my lane down. I recommend the lanes at 42nd street and the west side or Bowlmor in the village...I will never return to the ignorant and utterly disfunctional 300. more

Need a place to go with your Pin Pal 1/13/2006

Bowling at Chelsea Piers is more fun that bowling anywhere else! Well, I don't know if that's completely true, but it's a great set of lanes and it's priced reasonably by Manhattan standards. There's not very much that sets it apart from its Union Square neighborhood counterpart, Bowlmore, since they have the usual food and bar opportunities, but it is a nice thing to do when you're looking for some fun along the west side drive. more

good if youre a lame athlete 11/14/2005

cause this is one place at the piers where everyone can participate! look at how fat the professionals are on tv! its a nice setting. the food isnt great. i went to a birthday party here once. i like disco bowling at that place in the village by nyu better. its kind of a hike here - i think the place is the port authority is also more convienent and chelsea doesnt offer anything the others dont. more

A Staple 8/17/2005

It takes a while to get to this bowling alley as you have to walk past other areas of Chelsea Piers. It's cheaper than Bowlmar, but it isn't the cheapest. They have this extreme bowling where the balls glow and the lanes light up. It's bowling in the dark. It adds more fun to the game. Also there is a bar and "restaurant" inside. There's also an arcade game area. What's really fun is the DDR machine they have. They also have this deal where you can bowl and have an all you can eat ice cream thing. Never tried it, but hread it was great. That might be fun for large groups. more
