Love Salon Ciseaux! 10/4/2011

I always had trouble finding a stylist who could work with my natural wavy hair because the waves are the kind that seem to promote frizz. When I went to Arlene at Salon Cisauex, I knew I had finally found someone who could work with any kind of hair. Arlene knows my likes and dislikes and constantly watches for products she knows will be helpful to me. I can't thank her enough for introducing me to keratin. My hair is so manageable now that I find it hard to believe that it's my hair! In additon, after Arlene applies the color to my hair, I go to Orla for a relaxing pedicure. I haven't found anyone else who gives a pedicure as good as Orla. I'm glad I found Salon Ciseaux. more

Best Salon in Town! 9/30/2011

I love coming to Salon Ciseaux. The staff is so welcoming and friendly, and I can honestly say I have never left the salon unhappy with my hair color or cut. Debby Campbell does a great job with curly hair. When I think I want something a little different because I see the celebrities pull it off, she wrangles me back in to reality and suggests better styles that will work with my hair type. To top it off, Debby is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. more

I have been a happy customer of Salon Ciseaux for several years. Their professionalism, experience and educated team has always impressed me. They understand great service and will make sure you are happy with your hair. Not only are they the best at what they do but they also give back to the community, specifically by helping women and children. I highly recommend them. more

Can not give Oudiad Haircuts 8/14/2011

I was extremely disappointed in the Ouidad haircut I received by Kathy at Salon Ciseaux. To begin, Kathy did not do a consultation with me before my hair was washed to discuss what I wanted or what she recommended. As we all know, curly hair is different dry than it is straight. Her assistant took me back to wash my hair and apply the deep conditioning treatment. After this was all done and rinsed I was taken to Kathy more

Fast and decent but overpriced. 1/15/2011

I agree. I've only been one time and the conversation was nice, my hair looked decent, but I've gotten the same thing for a quarter of the price. I got in and out in less than an hour and a half and that was great, but I feel the price is too much for what I get. I will continue looking for a multicultural salon with either lower prices or more for my money. more

Love Ryan! 12/16/2010

I have been getting my haircut at Ciseaux for a few years now. My first stylist transformed my hair and I have never looked back. She is no longer at the salon but RYAN cuts my hair now. He is amazingly talented and always makes me look beautiful, while listening to my requests. Yes, Ciseaux is a bit pricey, but I feel it's worth it because I have never walked out disappointed. Since I started getting my haircut here at least 10 people have gone on my referral. People stop me regularly and ask where I get my hair done! Keep it up Salon Ciseaux! more

I've been going there for a few years and i don't think i can waste my money there any longer. I feel that it is very overpriced for what you get. I used to like going there because of how my hair looked and felt but now i often leave not satisfied. more

Best Salon in Orlando 12/15/2010

I have been a customer at Ciseaux for 15 years and consider myslef a loyalist. Cathy Imbesi and her team of professional stylists offer celebrity quality hairstyles right here in Orlando! They set the trends, and people are constantly asking me ""Who does your hair, your color is beautiful?"". Salon Ciseaux stylists travel to LA, New York and London every year to learn new styles and techniques. Ryan even travels on tour with Celtic Women as their exclusive stylist. And they support our community by participating in local events and giving their time and talent to those in need. I love the atmosphere, the professionalism and the feeling of being appreciated at Ciseaux. So go induge yourself and you too will become a loyalist like me. more

Experienced Staff! Exceptional Service! 12/15/2010

I love escaping to Salon Ciseaux. It's a wonderful place to leave the hussle and bussle of life to be pampered. Cathy Imbesi Lotz is an expert, highly trained stylist. She is constantly updating her craft by learning the latest, cutting edge (pardon the pun!) techniques from London and New York. Thankfully I don't have to get on a plane to receive the best in hair care in the country-- I've found it right here in Winter Park. P.S. LOVE the location! more

Great Salon!!! 6/10/2008

I had a wonderful time. It was great to see a multicultural salon in a multicultural city such as Orlando (Winter Park). The price wasn't cheap but excellent services and products rarely are. I was in and out in record time (didn't have to spend half of a Sat. to get my hair done). My hair looked wonderful and the conversation was great. Thanks Arlene!!!! Pros: Arlene is fast (gets you in and out) and works miracles with damaged hair. Cons: None -but I'll write some when I experience some more

Good salon, if slightly overpriced 5/7/2008

I used to go here, and I was always happy with my results, but the cost just got to be too prohibitive. I hear that my stylist has left, and I hope she goes somewhere a little more affordable so I can follow her. Pros: Central location. Amazing service. Great staff. Evening and weekend appointments. Cons: Pricey. more

Best Pedicures in Orlando! 5/7/2008

Orla gives the best pedicures in Orlando! You sit in that massage chair and you can just sit back and relax or can chat, whatever you like. She takes her time and does it perfectly!!! Love ya Orla! more

I LOVE RYAN! 5/1/2008

I read through all the reviews out of curiosity - I've been going to Ciseaux for about five visits now. I've seen Ryan four of those times (He tours, how awesome is that?). The fifth time I was with Hial (forgive me if I spelled your name wrong!) Pros: Great Staff, Great Atmosphere, Fun people. Cons: Hard to find the building when you first go to find it. more

Simply the best! 1/20/2008

I've been going to Salon Ciseaux for a few years now and I love the salon. Jael does my hair (actually she does my whole family's hair), I couldn't ask for a better stylist! Jael does the best job on my colors! I also go to Orla for my manicures and pedicures, talk about relaxing! Orla can always make a tough day go completely away, the massage she gives while giving the pedicure will put anyone into a dream state! I love the way Amanda and Heidi handle my issues with either being late or needing to re-schedule, they are the best! more

Love the stylists! 5/4/2007

I've been going to Ciseaux for a couple of years now, and I'm so glad I found them. I pretty picky about my hair and how I want it to look, so when I found Lucy, I was so happy. She listens to what I want and how I want my hair to turn out, and then she puts her own creative spin on it. I leave the salon always feeling very satisfied and feeling more beautiful than when I went in. Ciseaux is a quirky, upbeat salon with fun, talented stylists. I would recommend it to anyone! The Salon Where Everybody Knows Your Name 4/25/2006

This salon has everything all those highly pretentious Park Ave salons have, with even more talent in my opinion and an atmosphere that is truly a pleasure. I love how this salon knows nearly everyone that walks through the door by name and even knows what is going on in most of their lives. In todays world it is tough to find any place that gives you that warm, unique, special attention...however this salon truly achieves that effortlessly. The talent is truly incredible in my opinion and in a world that is getting more impersonal by the minute....it is just nice to go to that salon where everybody knows your name. I wish this salon all the luck however, luck isn't what is going to make this salon stand out because the talent is truly always there. Very trendy and up beat 4/25/2006

The salon has a great vibe. All stylists in the salon add a different element to the awesome atmosphere. Orla gives an incredible pedicure and manicure. Cathy, Arlene, Debby, Bekka, Kristen, Jael, Lucy, Stacey, Rint, Ryan and Shelly are all great. Anyone can make your hair fabulous. Pros: friendly, late hours, atmosphere more

Worst Salon in Central Florida 3/18/2006

After spending over $200.00 on a cut and partial highlight, I had to go to ANOTHER salon for a correction. The new stylist commented a large chunk was ""missing"" from my hair, the blonde color, requested, was a brassy red. As it rained during my visit, the ceiling leaked so bad, there were buckets placed to catch the leaky roof......I did call immediately, twice, to complain and for the stylist to correct, but never recieved a call back. Not impressed 3/13/2006

I have been to this salon a few times and seen a few different stylist but have yet to be impressed. The first time I went in with a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and came out with something completely different. The second time I went back, I met with a different stylist hoping to have better luck but came out and couldn't even tell my hair had been cut at all! All the dead ends I had hoped to have cut off remained. I am disappointed, as this salon is extremely close to my house, but entirely not worth the money.
