Very poor service from Winter Park location. Flowers arrived AFTER the funeral service. Called minutes prior to service, looking for the flowers, and they replied along the lines of ""you'll get them when you get them"". \r This company cannot be trusted. Maryann is not available.\r Read the comments below which date back 2-3 years. Inconsistent bad service. You decide. more

My boyfriend wanted to surprise me after Valentines day by sending me flowers at my work place. The flowers never arrived, and the company failed to process a return or pick up their phone for days and days afterward. The person (his name was Anthony) who FINALLY picked up the phone had a poor attitude and basically shrugged off the mistake and offered no apology saying it would take days to process a return. I'm pretty sure I've never recieved worst customer experience in my life, and it ruined our valentines day. Do NOT use this company for any event. \r more

I called this florist today to ensure that my order was being processed and to see when the recipient would recieve them. A very lazy male voice answered the phone and i asked to get a status check. He put me on hold for about 8 minutes and then a lady picked up the phone. I said, ""Hi, I have been on hold for 8 minutes, I just want a status check"" and her response was ""how can i help you"" - no apologies or nothing. I was told they sent a confirmation to 1800 flowers and that it was delivered. No thanks for your business, just ""okay, good bye."" \r \r $80+ for some flowers and a $15 service fee, i expected much better service. Wont be using this company again. I would recommend that you, the reader, not use them either. Very dissapointed. You're better off going to Whole Foods and you can buy the same amount of flowers and probably better quality, get better service for a quarter of the price. \r \r more

The new owner and store manager Maryann, personally helped my wife and I along the process of our wedding flower order. She was very helpful in all design aspects and very creative with the entire wedding. She even came to make sure every little detail was as she described on our wedding day! Even to this day I order flowers for just about every occasion and not once have I had any issues as the previous members. I know that on the holidays it can be very stressful when you order something it doesn't always turn out exactly how you want it to. But I would definitely give them a second chance to redeem themselves. Before I got married I had went to a few other flower shops in the area and they were not as helpful and wanted me to look in an outdated book and the whole presentation wasn't what we had pictured. i usually don't write these inquiries but when I read the horror stories from the previous members I had to write my experience just to let people know that. more

I wish I'd seen these ratings first. Flowers were ordered 7 days ahead of time and were not delivered as of 2 days AFTER the day they were supposed to be. I asked for a call back 3 times and each time I received the same templated email suggesting it was my fault and that they'll send me more free of charge - as if I would ever consider paying for them to be re-sent? How stupid. Then when a manager finally called they first told me there was no refund policy. As if that matters. Not writing a refund policy doesn't mean you don't need to do a refund. An agreed delivery time and product and an agreed dollar amount. I delivered, they didn't. The shipping company as of today still shows in the order tracking as it not being delivered however they're still ""investigating"". After telling me about how there was no refund policy she said she needed to talk to their refund department. What?! A department to deal with something you don't do? Don't ever ever use 1-800-flowers. more

WORST FLORIST 1/10/2012

Worst florist ever!! DO not use 1800Flowers in Winter Park (also known as Blooms of Winter Park). They sent my friend a flower birthday ""cake"", that upon arrival, already looked droopy and wilty. By the next day, some of the flowers browned. I emailed customer service for 1800Flowers who responded within 2 hours with an apology, $20 gift card and a promise to immediately re-send another flower birthday cake. Each day goes by and my friend receives nothing. I keep calling and spoke with Ramona (all 3 times) who assured me it would be taken care of. She apologized and said normally those flower cakes last 3 weeks. The original one did not make it through the weekend. She said she would peronally make it bigger and better and add balloons and chocolates to make up for the first one dying so soon. Each day, another delay. First, there was a delay in obtaining approval from the mgr to re-send delivery; next delay was due to truck delivery with fresh flowers, next delay ""didn't make it on today's truck"". Almost a week later (6 days), another one arrives. Exactly the same arrangement. One balloon attached. Epic fail. DO NOT USE THEM. more

Pathetic customer service 1/7/2012

Save the headaches and order your flowers somewhere else. Rude and rigid is not a recipe for good business. There are too many other options for places like this to survive. more

flower deliveries ruined AGAIN by 800 flowers Winter Park 1/23/2011

Our flower orders have been ruined by 1 800 flowers in Winter Park! The three times we have placed orders they have been either delivered on the wrong day...missing the special occasion and 2 times NOT DELIVERED AT ALL! Poor planning, poor customer service and poor delivery is what this location is all about. UNACCEPTABLE!!! That will be the last time we order from them! Three strikes...you are out! more

Ripped off by Flowers of Winter Park 12/21/2010

This Company has changed Management and it shows! They have no customer service!! I was married on Oct 09, 2010 and had decided to go with Flowers of Winter Park and it was a horrible mistake. 5 days before my wedding I was sent an email telling me that the head florist and person I had been working with for 7 months had left the store. I went in for a trial mock-up with the retail manager and the quality was bad and no where near what I had been shown the first time. She had no back up florist and suggested that her mother in law could help put the flowers together. Needless to say I didn't want to go with them since they did not have a trained florist. I had to scramble to find another florist in less than 5 days and she has REFUSED to give me my deposit back and will not return any of my correspondences. Stay far away from Flowers of Winter Park if you're planning a wedding. No bride should have to go through this days before her wedding, it was a nightmare! more
